The Iranian Genetics Society takes immense pride in hosting the National Genetics Festival, comprising the 6th International and the 18th National Genetics Congress of Iran. This prestigious event is scheduled to occur from May 21st to May 23rd, 2024, in Tehran, coinciding with World Biodiversity Day.
The primary focal points of this symposium encompass a spectrum of domains, including human genetics (both medical and related disciplines), plant genetics, animal genetics (covering livestock, poultry, aquatic life, etc.), genetics of stem cells and microorganisms, genetic resources, gene banks, ancient genetics, genealogy, as well as ethical, legal, and biosafety considerations.
Through meticulous coordination and consensus, the conference program is designed to incorporate scientific sessions, specialized meetings, technology showcases, the commercialization of scientific breakthroughs, educational workshops (subject to authorization for professional retraining), and exhibitions. Notably, it will feature keynote addresses delivered by distinguished national and international professors and researchers, presenting the latest advancements and scientific research findings in the field.

The deadline for registration and submission of research papers for the conference is set until February 4, 2024.
Accepted papers will be included in the congress booklet, while exceptional submissions will undergo rigorous review for potential publication in relevant scientific and research journals, with the endorsement of the association.
